Did your ghee melt? That can happen, especially in the warm summer months.
Good news – it’s not a problem! Read on to learn more and find out how to bring it back to a solid.
Why Ghee Melts
Although ghee doesn’t need to be refrigerated, it hates the heat and will melt down to oil, like coconut oil does.
When you order ghee from the Simply Ghee Shop during the hot summer months, please keep in mind that your ghee may be melted upon arrival due to 2-3 days in transit during temps 80+ degrees Fahrenheit.
This melting does not affect the integrity of our ghee!
It only takes the ghee to an oil stage.
