
Smoked Paprika Shrimp
For some reason paprika and shrimp are a great pairing! Choose sweet and smokey or spicy and smokey paprika! Use either our A2 Grassfed Ghee or Domestic Grassfed Ghee in this recipe. This recipe actually serves 1 generously or 2 as a side. When more folks are at the table make sure to click on the 2X or 3x button to revise the recipe.
Ingredients
- 5 – 7 large shrimp per person; shelled and de-veined
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Simply Ghee; (use more with more shrimp)
- 1 teaspoon sweet smoked paprika; or spicy version
- 1 clove garlic,; minced (use more with more shrimp)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice; freshly squeezed
Instructions
- Melt Ghee in a sauté pan, place the shrimp on one side, add the garlic and sprinkle the paprika on the shrimp.
- Sauté for about two minutes and turn shrimp to the other side.
- Add the lemon juice and sauté till they are light pink for another minute or so, based on their size.
- Remove from heat immediately and serve along rice or veggies of your choice. Also top off a fresh salad.
Notes
Ghee Gal Tip: Can also add a little lemon zest to the shrimp at the end of the recipe. Capers also are a nice added touch.
